As per the guidance of NHS England, all pre-bookable appointments have currently been put on hold due to the pandemic. if you need advice all calls will be triaged by a clinician.
Phone lines for Urgent appointments are open from 7.00 am to 10.00 am. You will be asked to leave your name, date of birth, contact number and brief message about your illness. The clinician will call you back the same day.
Patients can call anytime after 10.00 am for appointments which will be dealt with accordingly.
Please note our receptionists are not able to allocate any appointments, this can only be done by our Triage Clinician.
We will soon have eConsults where you will be able to detail your medical problem which will be triaged by a clinician and advise given within 48 hours.
Kindly note each appointment with a Doctor or Advanced Nurse Practioner is for 10 minutes as per NHS Guidance. Only ONE ailment will be addressed. The clinician will advise to re-book if necessary.
An appointment will not be given for repeat prescriptions. Please make sure you order these via patient online access in good time. Take advantage of our repeat dispensing system.
Contraception can also be availed from The Garden Clinic in Skimped Hill. you can look online on the NHS website for advice as well.
Appointments to see the Nurses and the Health Care Assistant may be booked in advance, there are a small number also available for on the day emergencies.
Appointments for extended hours (6.30pm-8pm) and Saturday and Sunday can be made (by contacting our reception staff) with Boundary House Surgery and EBPC.
Children under 16 should be accompanied by a responsible adult where possible.
If you book an appointment and find you no longer need it please let us know as soon as possible so that we can reallocate it.
